An internship is a summer position where you’ll join a team at Fortive to complete an exciting project over your summer break. Co-ops are completed in conjunction with your university and are usually full-time opportunities during the school year that replace your class schedule.
Internships are over the summer months and last 10-12 weeks. Co-Ops take place year-round and can be completed in one or more quarters/semesters based on your university requirements.
If you will still be actively working towards your degree during the internship or co-op season, then yes! Students who will have graduated prior to internships or co-ops starting are instead eligible for full-time opportunities at Fortive.
Yes, it can! While it is not a guarantee, our teams are eager to develop early in career talent and we strive to bring interns and co-ops back for full-time roles post-graduation where opportunities are available.
